Solanum lycopersicum

A delectable South African variety discovered in the Kamberg Valley, Drakensberg, in 2016.

This vigorous indeterminate plant produces beautiful deep purple-red-coloured fruits that have a complex, well-balanced flavour. The small-to-medium-sized fruits are slightly elongated attaining a length of around 5 cm. The deep colour and rich, sweet flavour make a great addition to salads or as a lunchbox snack. The flavour holds well in cooked dishes, too.
