Solanum lycopersicum
A Livingseeds release. Given to us by an Indian gardener, this tomato was given to her by her grandmother and has a double-edged promise. Abrar literally means "faithful" in Urdu, and the story is told that it would be faithful and fruit well – only when grown in the garden of a faithful and pious gardener. Fortunately for us, we found this variety to be an outstanding and prolific producer!
Abrar is a heavy-bearing, medium-early, semi-determinate variety that gives consistent yields of superb, uniform, pink/red fruits with a large, juicy seed cavity.
