Capsicum chinense

Another rare chilli pepper from Bolivia. This unique chilli gets its name from its worm-like appearance; Gusano is Spanish for “worm/maggot.”

The small, elongated fruits have a fruity hint of citrus with a decent heat level that is not to be laughed at. They ripen from a light green to a creamy colour making them look like a cluster of creamy caterpillars hanging in the bush. The lack of seeds in the pods make for perfect salsas, with the colour adding a unique touch. Also perfect to add to chicken or fish dishes without influencing the colour.

Standard packet contains approx. 10 seeds
