Capsicum chinense

This variety is thought to have been discovered in the Bahamas. A highly productive plant that produces typical scotch bonnet shaped fruit that starts of a light green, ripening to a lovely peachy orange. The flavour is sweet and fruity with a heat that builds and lingers. The heat is right up there with Habaneros.
