Potatoes

Every year, Livingseeds supplies certified disease-free seed potatoes to the gardening public. We regularly stock seed potatoes in season and sell out on most varieties rather quickly. Typically, we notify our customers via our newsletter and social media that pre-orders are open to enable our existing customers to put their orders in early. This year, we are not doing pre-orders, but are opening up orders and shipping immediately.

Rest assured that we will only supply seed potatoes to you at the correct planting times to ensure your success.

We supply seed potatoes for the two main planting seasons: early crop planting in August to October, and main crop planting in December to early February. Early crop, if put in the ground early enough, will give you a December harvest. Many of our customers feature their own home-grown organic potatoes on their Christmas dinner table. Main crop planting, if timed correctly, will give you organic storage potatoes for the winter months.

If you are looking for one of the rare and exciting heirloom potato varieties, we suggest that you sign up to our newsletter and follow our Facebook page, as this is where we will notify all of our customers of any new or limited-release items.

Potato growing instructions are available on the website in the Free Downloads category. Please make sure that you are logged in. These instructions cover growing, harvesting, and storing your potatoes.
