Solanum lycopersicum

This variety was bred by Dr Harold E. Martin (1888-1959) in the late 1920s. Dr Martin was a dentist turned plant breeder who is best remembered today for his famous pole lima with huge seeds.

This plant produces high yields of large deep red-purple-black tomatoes that have a sweet and earthy flavour. A wonderful tomato for just about anything, so a great choice for the home garden.

Fruits are not crack resistant.

Ready for harvest in 90 days after transplant.
