Capsicum annuum

The literal translation of this is Granny's Paprika. Given to us by a Serbian lady who had this pepper as a rememberance of her maternal grandmother. This pepper is a literal definition of of an heirloom seed, where the lady who gave it to us is well advanced in years and a grandmother in her own right. She can remember her grandmother from the old country, and the memories of the traditional dishes cooked by her granny's hands. A low growing bush that produces a respectable number of rich, deep coloured paprikas that accurately bring historical flavours into your home.
