Bacillus pumillus and Bacillus subtilis

Sterisweep is Soygro’s trusted biological foliar application for keeping plant leaves lush, healthy and disease-free. Used preventatively across a wide range of crops, this foliar blend contains two powerful strains of beneficial Bacillus bacteria, known for their natural capacity to combat foliar pathogens and stimulate plant resilience. With its ability to colonise stressed leaf surfaces, Sterisweep helps plants recover more quickly after environmental damage such as hail, wind, drought, or heat.

The active microbes in Sterisweep suppress disease in two ways: directly, by releasing enzymes that degrade the cell walls of harmful pathogens and by producing antifungal compounds; and indirectly, by outcompeting these pathogens for nutrients and space on stressed or damaged foliage. This dual action not only protects the plant but also enhances its natural defences, promoting more vigorous and resilient growth even under suboptimal conditions.

Sterisweep is applied via knapsack or pressure sprayer and should be used before disease symptoms appear.  Always apply with sufficient water to ensure fine droplet coverage on all leaf surfaces. Sterisweep is compatible with other Soygro foliar treatments such as Péllos, and is most effective when both parts of the formulation are used together.

Because it is non-toxic and leaves no residue or withdrawal period, Sterisweep is a safe and reliable addition to any foliar health programme. It is particularly valuable as a follow-up after chemical treatments to restore biological balance and support recovery. Store at room temperature and shake well before use.

Mixing instructions:

BOTH bottles of Sterisweep must be mixed/used at the same time. As they each contain a single bacteria strain and both need to be available at the same time to be effective.

Mix both bottles into a maximum of 16Lt and apply via a pressure/backpack sprayer.

The mixed product will last for 3 days if stored in a dark place.
