Peaflo is Soygro’s premium liquid inoculant crafted for peas and vetch, designed to unlock the full potential of biological nitrogen fixation. Containing  Rhizobium leguminosarum biovar viciae, Peaflo forms a beneficial symbiosis with pea and vetch roots, enabling the plants to fix atmospheric nitrogen and thrive without relying on synthetic fertilisers. This inoculant not only improves nitrogen availability but also enhances the uptake of phosphorus, a key nutrient for early growth and flowering.

At the root level, Peaflo’s action involves the bacterial colonisation of root hairs, leading to the formation of nodules where nitrogen conversion takes place. These nodules act as natural nitrogen factories, steadily supplying the plant with essential nutrients throughout its development. This process supports strong vegetative growth and boosts yield potential, especially in nutrient-depleted or low-input soils.

Peaflo is simply applied as a drench after emergence. Mix 1 x 2ml vial into 5lt of water and pour onto your soil.

As the Soygro inoculum is a living product, once opened, it cannot be stored and must be used immediately. It is best to apply the inoculum as soon as you have planted the seed so that the biologicals are available to attach to the root as soon as the seed germinates.
