• Roquefort Beans

Phaseolus vulgaris

A great little producer of sweet and crisp, yellow snap beans. Popular for their excellent flavour and productivity. If the bushes are picked over often, they will give you months of satisfaction. We like to use these beans in a mix with purple, and green bean to add some extra colour to our plates. Kids love to eat them straight off the bushes.

Standard packet contains approx. 25 seeds

Petite packet contains approx. 10 seeds

Using Beanflo-Rhizobium bacteria when planting your bean seed is the most cost effective way of putting nitrogen fixing bacteria into your soil, creating healthier soil for a more productive harvest.

Just adding my opinion to the rewiews already given and I agree with all of them. Really a lovely bean with great flavour and taste wonderful. Will definitely plant it again.

Such a wonderful bush bean variety! In good soil they produced so many beans at once that I was sold on the Roquefort and shall always be growing them from now on!

These crisp juicy beans are fantastic. They were the most productive bush beans by far last summer. They just kept on going until the hard frosts knocked them back. I had more than I could use from about 8 bushes and still have heaps in my freezer and in jars pickled as dilly beans. They are pretty served alongside green beans.
