Cucurbita pepo

One of the top 3 South African heirloom varieties. This humble little squash is a huge hit in Europe and especially Germany where they are so expensive that they are only offered in high class restaurants. If you grow your own, be prepared to never want to subject yourself to the torture of tasteless, colourless, store-bought, hybrid Gems again.

Ready for harvest in 95 days.

Standard packet contains approx. 15 seeds

Petite packet contains approx. 5 seeds

Fantastic gem! Produced like crazy and just delicious. We ate loads of them and still felt sad at the end of the season. We found we could let them get pretty big and the skins were still tender enough to eat.

This variety just never stops producing! our yield was endless. It's one of the tastiest Gem Squash i've ever eaten. Highly recommended!!
