Phaseolus vulgaris

Also known as Flagg & Chester, Skunk bean and Flaff pole, Chester is a pole bean variety that earned its name from where it first grew in Chester, Vermont. Its name translates to "skunk" in the Mohawk language, and looking at these black-and-white patterned seeds will tell you why.

A highly productive dry and green bean that shells and cooks easily.
