An heirloom from Montrose, Iowa. This variety is a result of a cross between Hawksbury and Dixie Queen made by Chris Christensen in 1950.
The plants produce good yields of 6kg, round fruits. The rind is light green with dark green stripes, encapsulating a semi-sweet red flesh.
