Cucumis sativus

A very well-known English heirloom dating back to 1897. It produces masses of heavy fruits with excellent juicy flavour that are best harvested at 38-45 cm long. One of the better heirloom cucumbers for greenhouse/tunnel production but also does well outdoors. Train onto a trellis for straight cucumbers; either way, they remain equally delicious.

This variety is burpless with a mild flavour and is never bitter.

Ready to harvest in 90 days after transplant.
