One of our more popular potato varieties; wonderful, tall, erect plants with plenty of good foliage and heaps of stunning white flowers.

Tyson is a great table variety that excels as a boiling, mashing and roasting potato. It really shines as a baked, baby, or roast potato. Good dry matter content.

In our trials on Livingseeds Farm, this is the current top-producing variety. It is also a firm favourite with our staff, who often choose this variety first.

Good disease resistance to scab and bruising so it will also store well.

This is a medium to late maturing variety, so expect to harvest at around 90-100 days.

First-time vegetable gardener and very chuffed with the success I’ve had with the potatoes so far! I planted the Tyson potatoes in Sept24 and by 1Dec the plants are standing high and strong with beautiful pink blooms. Some developed later than others, but not an issue as I have about 7 plants with good growth already. Had some ant issues which chowed through one of the branches but got it sorted out with water and vinegar. Excited to start harvesting soon! Will update once the harvest is done.

I planted these as a second crop in March, I got an excellent harvest, huge, big, medium and baby potatoes, around 50kg in total. I'm definitely planting again this season.
