Brassica oleracea

This variety is named after the Waltham Field Station in Waltham, where university researchers first developed it around 1954. Specifically for colder climates, these do very well in our short sharp South African winters. A seriously quick growing variety that produces blue-green, medium sized heads. You can harvest stunning heads in as little as 7 weeks on these quick growing plants. This variety will produce side shoots which gives you an extended harvest season.

Harvest in 50-60 days from transplant
