Agathosma ovata

Originating in the Kluitjieskraal region between Tulbach, Wolseley, and Ceres, this compact evergreen shrub is commonly found throughout the Western Cape, to Kwazulu-Natal, and up into regions of Limpopo.

The beautiful star-shaped flowers grow in dense clusters and are situated closer to the tips of the branches, attracting pollinators from mid-autumn to spring.

The leaves have oils that protect the plants from pests and plant eaters.

An ideal water-wise plant that benefits from well-draining and humus-rich soils. The plants do well in full sun or semi-shaded areas, however shaded areas do affect flowering and flower colours. Can tolerate some frost when the plant is well established.

Standard packet contains approx. 15 seeds
